Ms. Ray joined Nelson S. Ebaugh, P.C. in 2009 as Of Counsel. She has extensive experience in complex commercial litigation. Ms. Ray was born in Globe, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1997 with Highest Honors, Phi Beta Kappa, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government. Her husband, Douglas P. Ray, is also an attorney, serving as an Assistant County Attorney under Harris County Attorney Vince Ryan. Ms. Ray received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston in 2000, where she served as the Editor in Chief of the Houston Journal of International Law. She continues to serve as a member of the advisory board of the Houston Journal of International Law. During her career in the Houston legal community, Ms. Ray has worked a wide variety of challenging legal matters with such firms as Winstead, P.C. and Susman Godfrey, LLC involving disputes over banking, contracts, wrongful death, insurance, and mass action labor relations claims. Her experience with managing complex and voluminous electronic discovery is both detailed and significant.
